Value-Based Decisions on a Limited Budget
(Waukesha, WI) May 30, 2008 – On Thursday, June 19th, at 7:00 p.m., the Metropolitan Builders Association will host a consumer seminar titled, “Value-Based Decisions on a Limited Budget.” This consumer seminar will explore the different options involved in the building and remodeling process, such as types of materials to choose from, optional upgrades in materials, and ways to budget your money per square footage. The seminar will also give you some factual information, such as average material costs, so you can better prepare yourself for knowing what you want as you build a new home or improve your current one.
The free seminar will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last approximately one and one-half hours with opportunities to ask a lot of questions. Jacqueline Brunn from Kaerek Homes will provide consumers with practical advice so that consumers are prepared to plan and budget their savings carefully before they enter the building process.
If you are considering building or remodeling, consider what is important for your household. All households differ in their family size, income, number of pets, etc. In order to feel confident in the options you choose, it is important to recognize your essential needs based on your top priorities and values. Communicating these essential needs to your builder will make it easier for them to assist you in evaluating the options you face. When it comes to selecting options, consumers who do their research and consider the different options available to them will have a more enjoyable experience with their builder or remodeler.
In addition to introducing options, this seminar will educate consumers about the questions they should consider before purchasing or remodeling a home. Knowing the right questions to ask will not only help confirm what you are looking for in a home, but it will also make it easier for you to keep the costs within your budget. Learning value-based tips from an experienced homebuilder will help consumers feel confident in their selections and avoid regretting their decisions after their home is finished.
Laying out your options and confirming what you want are critical factors to consider before building or remodeling a home.
