Where else can you see the design solutions being incorporated into area homes up close and personal? This scattered-site tour features remodeling projects that range in scope from full house remodels to bathrooms, kitchens, lower levels, 2nd story additions and more. These projects allow attendees to get up close and personal with the quality offered by a variety of MBA remodelers. It’s the perfect place to see different design solutions that have worked in a variety of homes.

Nationally, kitchens and bathrooms are still the most popular remodeling projects. The projects on the tour reflect that. “It’s interesting to see the other rooms that are changed when a kitchen is remodeled,” said Jill Liptow, Chairman of the Metropolitan Builders Association Remodelers Council.  “Laundry rooms and mudrooms are two of the most common additions to be made when a kitchen is expanded. In many homes, remodeling helps to revitalize areas of the home instead of just rooms.  This is quite evident in our 2009 tour.”
